Description
Sat down at the Georgia Aquarium and drew the view from the main viewing glass on the largest tank. Thirty feet tall, two and a half feet thick acrylic to hold back the 6.2 million gallons. Yes, there are two whale sharks in there too.
I got an annual pass, so you can expect to be seeing more stuff like this from me. The main part of this took about an hour and a half to draw. Sketched in the rocks first, and then added the main attraction fish in layers. Added in more of the background fish, like the pixie snappers and the 'dots' while on the way home. All told, about two and a half hours. Will likely eventually color it in Prismacolors. Maybe.

Awesome, I love the details here and there. Whale sharks? You mean those really big sharks? Cool.
Luckily for me, there's almost a billion aquariums where I live, since I live on the Pacific coast. I don't remember if they ever had any whale sharks in any, but we do have a lot of sea lions.
